When God created Adam, He breathed the breath of life (oxygen) into his nostrils. Adam means “red Man” or “blood man.” Our bodies need blood and oxygen to live. “For the life of the flesh is in the blood”. This verse is about the life of the flesh, but it also points to spiritual life. It’s in His blood. Life is in the blood.
