Dream: Hard, Dry Ground

Dream: A man showed me hard, dry ground where the seeds were not coming up. It felt hopeless. End of dream.
It was a colorless and troubling dream. Some dream interpreters will tell you this kind of dream is not from God. In my experience, if God allows such a dream, He has a reason. He is either showing me the enemy's strategy against me or showing me something in my life that is not pleasing to Him. The man in the dream was my enemy. Satan would like me to believe that the seeds I've planted will never bear fruit. He is a liar.
I prayed to the Lord of the harvest, and I went to the Word.
"I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water. I will plant ..."
In my spirit, I heard "Praise Me in the dry places." I did just that. As I worshipped, Holy Sprit brought Habakkuk 3:17-18 to my mind.
"Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
Yet, I will rejoice in the Lord.
I will be joyful in God my Savior."
That's exactly what the enemy did not want me to do. He wanted me gloomy and hopeless. My praise brings heaven's rain, and Father assured me: "Your beautiful, bountiful season is coming soon and supernaturally. The dry area will become fruitful for My kingdom." I am praising and I am speaking God's truth over my life. That's spiritual warfare. Through it, I'm dismantling the lie my enemy would have me believe.
Dream Tips: Take them seriously. Don't be afraid of dark, troubling dreams. Write the dream down. Sometimes, just writing it down brings understanding. Ask God why He allowed the dark, troubling dream. Expect to receive wisdom and insight from God. See what the Word says on the subject. And, don't be afraid to share the dream with someone you trust.
If you would like help understanding and interpreting a dream, please share it with me. I will seek the Lord for interpretation and get back to you. Your dream will be held in confidence unless you agree to let me use it for teaching purposes. In that case, I would not divulge your name to protect your privacy.
